These six steps include:
Develop the clinical question.
Search for the best evidence.
Appraise or synthesize the evidence.
Implement the evidence in practice.
Evaluate whether the practice changes have improved outcomes.
Disseminate the results.
Four Criteria for Evaluating a Qualitative Study
In this unit there’s an opportunity to understand the distinction of criteria to evaluate the methods used for a study to be evaluated. The four criteria for evaluating a qualitative study: credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability .Through this qualitative approach to a study overview the determination can be made about whether the study can be transferred to another setting.
